1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the Yuelu iPhone app, Apple Watch app, watch face complication, widgets, Live Activity, and official Yuelu web pages operated under the yuelu.plus domain.
2. Health Data
With your permission, Yuelu may read selected data from Apple Health through HealthKit, including:
- Heart rate and resting heart rate
- Heart rate variability (HRV / SDNN)
- Sleep analysis and sleep stages
- Workouts and activity data
- Blood oxygen, respiratory rate, and sleeping wrist temperature
- Steps, exercise time, move time, and VO2 Max
- Height, weight, biological sex, and date of birth
Yuelu uses this data to display health trends, sleep details, workout metrics, recovery indicators, body age estimates, watch face complications, and related on-device insights.
Yuelu may write workouts, manually saved health records, or user-confirmed nap records back to Apple Health only when you choose to save them. You can manage Health permissions at any time in iOS or watchOS settings.
3. Bluetooth and Device Connectivity
Yuelu may use Bluetooth during workout scenarios to communicate between your iPhone, Apple Watch, and nearby compatible devices, including broadcasting local heart rate data when you enable that feature.
Yuelu may also use Apple Watch Connectivity to transfer settings, language preferences, local profile snapshots, avatar files, and workout or health display state between your own devices.
4. Local Storage
Yuelu primarily stores information locally on your devices. Local storage may include:
- App preferences such as appearance, language, feature settings, and health module ordering
- Local profile information and avatar files
- Sleep, workout, and health display state needed for app features
- Watch app snapshots and lightweight sync state
- Small device identifiers or configuration values stored in Keychain where appropriate
Yuelu may keep a local Sign in with Apple session on your device so you can return to the app. The current version does not use a Yuelu-owned cloud account service, membership purchase flow, or iCloud data sync feature, and does not upload Apple Health data or local profile data to Yuelu-owned servers.
5. Official Web Pages
The app may open official Yuelu web pages, such as FAQ, Privacy Policy, and Terms of Use pages. These pages are used to present public support and legal information. Standard web hosting logs may be generated by the hosting provider when pages are accessed.
6. Third Parties
Yuelu does not sell your health data, workout data, or profile settings. Yuelu does not use third-party advertising SDKs or third-party behavioral tracking SDKs in the current version.
Certain features rely on Apple services and frameworks, such as HealthKit, Apple Health, Apple Watch Connectivity, WidgetKit, ActivityKit, Keychain, and system settings. Your use of Apple services is also subject to Apple's terms and privacy policies.
7. Background Behavior
Yuelu may use HealthKit background updates after you grant permission so health data changes can be reflected in local health trends and watch-related displays. This background behavior is used for health features and local display, not for advertising or third-party data sharing.
8. Your Choices
You can control Yuelu's access and data by:
- Changing Health permissions in the Health app or system settings
- Changing Bluetooth permissions in system settings
- Stopping workout or heart rate broadcast features
- Deleting your local account and app data in Yuelu at Settings > Delete Account
- Managing Apple Health records directly in Apple Health where supported
9. Children
Yuelu is intended for general health and wellness use and is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through Yuelu in a way not described here, please contact us.
10. Health and Medical Disclaimer
Yuelu provides wellness and informational features only. It is not a medical device, does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment, and should not be used for emergency care. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical concerns.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Yuelu evolves. If changes are material, we will update the effective date and make the revised policy available through the app or official website.
