Resting-heart-rate reference

Why resting heart rate is read against your baseline before a population reference.

Última atualização2026-08-28

The American Heart Association commonly describes an adult resting heart-rate reference range of 60–100 beats per minute. Resting heart rate is affected by fitness, stress, illness, medication, sleep, and measurement conditions, so the same number can mean different things for different people.

Yuelu prioritizes your personal baseline when enough overnight records exist. A sustained change, especially with symptoms such as chest pain, fainting, or shortness of breath, should be assessed by a healthcare professional.

Interpretation note

The range is a general reference for adults, not a diagnosis or a recommended value for every individual.
